Sunday Sunday...

I'd call it a successful day. Sunday is usually my 'stay home and hibernate' day because as in introvert, I sometimes just need to be in the house and quiet to recharge for the coming week. That didn't quite happen.

We started off going to the grocery store for 'a few things' and wound up with a buggy-full! Then we had to make a side trip to get the pastured butter and half'n'half, and got even MORE stuff. Then we ran out to the Mart of Wal in Gresham, and finished off the trip at Costco.

Four hours later, we had everything we needed and then some LOL I think we're good for a while. A few loads of laundry (and multiple trips up and down the stairs), a 20-min. jaunt on the treadmill, and sweeping and vacuuming later, and I was done! Let's just say there was no trouble falling asleep last night. We supped on homemade cream of broccoli soup which was uber-yummy and filling and relatively guilt-free and I wound up nicely in the middle of my calorie count for the day.

I did the 20 minutes on the treadmill because I want to know that I had intentional fitness minutes, above wandering around shopping, and I wanted to get in at least 1 mile for the day. I'm mostly accepting what the Fitbit One is saying for my calories burned, but I'm going to have to ignore what SparkPeople says when it harps that I'm burning too many calories and not eating enough. I'll have to be sure that I find that sweet spot to continue losing without doing without - so to speak.

    I'm curious to compare the FitBit calories to what SP calculates... I haven't done that yet. Hmmm...

    I'm impressed not just with your activity but with ALL of that shopping and still finding time for house chores and you. Those errand days can really take a lot out of me and turn in to challenges with food choices.

    Ah yes...I remember the days of running around to several stores over the weekend. I'm lucky if I can get out to a store and spend 45 minutes at a time now. Love that you made a point of intentional fitness minutes. Good on you girlie!

    Four hours shopping... I'm trying to remember back to those days when I use to love to get out there and shop. Nope, too long ago. LOL

I might have to save up my pennies for the Fitbit. There's a lot of talk on here about it and it sounds really interesting. I have a HRM that I never used. I wonder if I could sell it and use that money to buy me a Fitbit which I think I would like better.

I like the idea of "intentional fitness". I need to keep that in mind.
