Wow... a whole year since I last posted a blog.
I've got to say, I'm not the most verbose person. Particularly when it comes to typing personal stuff and posting it to the internet.
But I want to let you people know that I am ALIVE and WELL and ON TRACK.
I'm also leaving for Florida in 3 weeks! EEP
And I am just finalizing dates for my trip to Europe this summer.
Also, a good friend of mine is getting married in November!
SO, I have quite a few things to look forward to!
At the end of October I bought a Fitbit and I have been pretty much just trying to pay attention to how much activity I do on a daily basis.
The second weekend in December, my friend who's coming with me to Europe and I joined a gym together. Well actually, we got 30 DAYS FREE, so we actually only have to pay up this week. But it's 2 for 1 for new lady members! They also have a pool and hot tub, and an indoor running track. Thus far into my 30 days (day 29 to be exact) things are going very well.
Last week I ordered myself an ARIA scale, which syncs to the Fitbit website, which now sync to SPARKPEOPLE! For more accountability!
So, the only negative I have to mention is the number on my scale this morning. I thought I had done pretty well about getting through the holidays without gaining too much weight... but I'm up about 5lbs. Thank goodness I actually WENT to the gym during my vacation, because otherwise that number would likely have been higher.
In any case, today is my first day back at the office, I have a date at the gym right after work (omg I can only imagine the January insanity that awaits me there this Monday afternoon!), I had a good breakfast and a fabulous lunch. I brought mysef a pre-workout snack and dinner is already made and waiting for me when I get home, I just need to throw together a salad to go with.
