This is the phrase that has been repeating itself in my mind today.
I know there's that saying, "Be the change you want to see."
Personally, I can think of no greater or more powerful force for change than the Love of God. Even just based on my own life, since I met Christ as a teenager in her senior year at high school. And I know there are tens of hundreds of thousands of (probably) millions of testimonies to how God has changed lives. I don't speak of an impersonal higher power. I speak of the Creator of the universe, Who is intimately interested in the lives of the ones made in His image.
I also know, you can't lead where you've never gone. You can't give out what you don't have.
I can only give the Father's love if I myself have experienced and AM experiencing it. So if Father's telling me, "BE the love," that means I have to spend time with Him, to be filled with Him.
But that is quite all right by me! I love Him - because He first loved me!

So, that leaves considering what the practical application is. How, Father, can I be the Love - be YOUR love, be your representative? Well, that's something we'll just have to walk out day by day. It can be hugs, smiles, encouraging words, helpful gestures, forgiveness,..After all, God is infiniite, so there have got to be an infinite number of ways to express His love. To BE the love.
