MY Time.

Monday, January 07, 2013

When I say "MY Time", I don't just mean the time that is mine, I mean, that I will own MY time, I will do things with MY time that make me happy, that make me a better person, that enrich my life. I will not let others abuse MY time. I will not allow MY time to be taken for granted. I will not abuse MY time.

It's going to be a year of changes. I have a wedding to plan. I have a life to live. I am going to STOP living in the past and start living in MY time, each and every day.

Goals:
**Exercise: emoticon emoticon
The DF & I decided to re-join a gym. He even wants to go as a couple at least once each weekend so we can have 'our' time together.
**Health: emoticon emoticon
I am going to care (AGAIN) about what I fuel my body with, about taking care of myself-- physically and emotionally and regaining control of what I've lost along the way
**Relationships: emoticon
I am going to work on the important ones and let go of the ones that bring me down or make me feel less than I am worth.
**Finances: emoticon emoticon
I am going to stop being so frivolous and begin saving for our future. No more wasting money of eating out. No more laziness with budgeting.
**Resources emoticon
I am going to be more active on Spark. I am going to be a good SparkFriend and Motivator. I am going to track my food and exercise.

Happy New Year emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Lots of Changes Coming.

Great goals! I especially love the relationships one. Sometimes we have to let go of things (and people) that aren't good for us. I'm glad you have the insight to know that, not everyone does. Best of luck to you in 2013!

If you are interested in a Scriptural perspective on money, finances, and budgeting, you should check out Crown Financial. They often have small group classes at different churches, and the book it is based upon, "Your Money Counts", is fantastic.

Best wishes to you in achieving all of your goals this year!

Great goals and well written! I could take a few lessons from you. Sounds like an exciting year, wedding planning, gym time with DF. Saving up for weddings and honeymoons. I can be a little stressful, but have fun with it, it'll be a time you'll never forget. Let your MY time be rejuvenating and unstressful.

I could work on those last couple too:
- Letting go of relationships: I have a "friend" at school who causes me a lot of stress. Why I feel I need to be friends with her is beyond me. I should just let it go!
- Finances: same thing you said! Gotta stick to the budget and eat out less.
- SP: I feel like a horrible friend on here but I really do care about my Spark Friends. I just get so busy with school, I never stop by to read blogs any more. I enjoy it. I am sure there is a time waster that I could get rid of (tv) and read instead!

Good luck on all your goals!!
