Sparked and Fitbitted.....

Monday, January 07, 2013

Sometimes one has a bit of a chance to do some good.

So someone at work left their pedometer in the washroom. An email was sent out by the finder, the pedometer was recovered...etc.

I saw the pedometer, it was a big, clunky, old thing.

So I paid the person a visit and did my fitbit/sparkpeople elevator speech. I demonstrated the fibit after carefully (and modestly) unclipping it from my bra, gave information on where to buy it in Canada, and made sure the person wrote down the the websites names.

Spread the spark!

Spread the fitbit! The fit? The bit? Hey, anything sold with a dongle (look it up) can't be all bad!

Have a good one!

    Woohooo! And LOL!

My sweet guitar teacher wants to start a walking program to get his weight under control. I told him about my fitbit, then had to turn around to dig it out of my bra to show him. Modesty preserved, fitbit promoted.

I'm with you! Lately, I've been tempted to buy FitBits as the go-to gift for all my family and friends. It's so cute when it talks to me, and I love to see the flower bloom taller and taller. Now that I use the belt clip, I don't have to worry about damaging it. And yes, that little dongle just travels with my laptop.

Aha - clipped to your bra? Got to che k that out most pedometers show incorrect measures because I am too fat ... said that I do use runkeeper for when I walk or bike as exercise but I have nothing to count my everyday steps...
