I spent the first week of 2013 recovering from the holidays back home, and kept my calories at or below my minimum calorie range. When I got home from vacation I was super bloated from an excess of sugar and salt, and I was feeling very yucky. A week back on "real" food brought me back down almost to my 125 goal weight. I expect that by this coming weekend I will be back where I belong, assuming I stick with my normal routine.

Yesterday we cooked meals for the week. I made two new recipes from the Spark cookbook. We made a black bean and quinoa casserole and a spaghetti squash and broccoli dish. So I have dinners for the week that are super healthy. I baked fresh bread, and we made homemade popsicles out of fresh squeezed blood oranges, a little honey, and some water. Super yummy!! I have steamed veggies and whole grain pasta for lunches, and some organic yogurts for snacks today. Tonight I'll bake more granola bars since we're out of those, and then I'll have those and the yogurts for snacks the rest of the week.

I started my morning with a walk with my pups, and after work today I'll either be doing a step aerobic workout or one of my JM cardio weight-lifting videos. We'll see which I'm in the mood for after work. And I'll be watching the Biggest Loser premier that I DVR'd last night. I love me some Jillian Michaels. :)

We also worked on putting the house back together now that the floors are done. We have a ways to go, but got a lot accomplished.

I also set up pop-up reminders for my goals for the year so they'll pop up every Friday before I go home for the weekend, and every Monday too. I figure this will help me keep my goals fresh in my mind so I can work on them regularly. This weekend I made progress on my crochet blanket. And I made two new recipes. I also signed up for a restorative yoga class for this Friday, and two "regular" yoga classes for this month too. One next Thursday and one on Saturday the 26th. So I have 3 yoga sessions to look forward to this month. :) Maybe while I watch the BL premier tonight I'll get a little further on that blanket!

Now on to the rest of my week!

    I am curious about the pop up minders you mentioned. Is that a spark tool ? Or something else?
