Today I start Day 1 of my 30 Day Shakeology Challenge. A friend of mine who is big into the Beach Body products wanted to start this challenge and I decided to join in. I took a before picture yesterday (let me tell you I wanted to burn it). Let's just say I think I could look better. My weakness is food. I love food and especially when its my TOM. Like yesterday (because yes its my TOM) I ate so much chocolate. I like chocolate ok, but I don't necessarily crave it any other day of the month. But yesterday it was like they put crack in those Hershey's Treasures. I also ate half a bag of lay's, tuna noodle casserole, left over Pizza Hut and had enough caffeine to keep me going for days.
SOOO yeah I need a restart on my diet. So this Shakeology Challenge is to replace 1 meal a day with Beach Body's Shakeology formula. I am choosing breakfast because I'm not a morning person. Usually I bring some yogurt with me to work each morning to eat at my desk but I've been lazy about buying some...so what is more perfect than bringing a week's worth of shakes with me to mix here.
I also start RIPT again Wednesday which I'm excited about. I saw some good results last time and it always feels great to sweat for an hour each day. My gym also added a few classes on the opposite days so I'm excited to give those a try as well and really kick up my weight loss goals. I will be ready for summer this year. I have a goal of losing 5 lbs by April. Which is totally attainable if I can keep up with eating healthier AND exercising. Exercising for me has never been the issue its just those darn junk foods and soda.
