I think I've finally accepted that sharing my goals allows for more accountability, instead of keeping them to myself and then being like "meh" as the deadline comes and goes and nothing happens.
So I'm publically announcing the following goal
Lose my next 12 pounds by the end of February. This is very do-able and I calculated that I'll need to lose, on average, 1.6 pounds per week to achieve this. That's well within my recommended pace. And this 12 pounds is based on my last (few days ago) weigh-in, so maybe by tomorrow night's official weigh in I'll be down a little bit and can even re-adjust my weekly average need.
