I've had this dvd for a while, but haven't reviewed it. Some of that was because I didn't love it at first and thought I should. Because I love sparkpeople. I also love coach nicole as a motivator and some of her videos on the site.
This dvd is great for beginners (but not only beginners, necessarily). It has a warm up and a cool down and stretch, which I find some of my newer videos which focus on being short seem to lack. I had been doing some firm express videos and noticing I was getting sore and less flexible, if that's possible. I went back to this dvd (which I felt maybe I needed something easier) and I was reminded about warming up and cooling down. I knew this, but having those built into the workout was what I needed.
I find I still reach for this dvd when I am less motivated because I love coach Nicole's attitude and you can do just 10 minutes of exercise. I have put this dvd in to to do her stretches at the end of another workout. I know there are various levels of this dvd but it still isn't the one I'll grab everyday. I like to incorporate weights into my workouts.
I hear there are newer spark dvd's that do that.
I'll add them onto a birthday wishlist. (Maybe set one as a reward for a goal).
