The first week of the rest of my life

So I started Sparkpeople mid week last week. Proud to say, I managed to stick with it all weekend long. That has always been where I mess up. There is so much to do, we are out and about, grab bad food or are in a rush, so what I cook isn't the healthiest. But this time, I am determined to kick that habit! Today starts the first full week of the rest of my new diet, no trend, just a new healthier lifestyle. I will track what I eat and commit to log exercise for the accountability. I will join others on this journey and be an encourager of those around me. Positive in, Positive out!

    Great job and welcome!

What I find helpful is to plan ahead. Seems simple, but it does take practice and effort to get into the habit.

By planning meals, you don't find yourself "stuck" as often. Also, carrying non-perishable (healthy) snacks in the car helps you pass on fast food.
