I can proudly say I did well this weekend!
In the past, weekends have been a free-for-all, eating and exercise wise. I'm usally pretty good during the week, when my time and activities are more structured. Get up, have breakfast, head to work, eat lunch, head home, exercise, eat dinner. There's order during the work week.
The weekends are a different story. I tend to get up later, which means I eat breakfast later, which means I usually skip lunch with leads to a big dinner and exercise doesn't find its place amid all the running around.
This weekend was different. I got up about an hour later than I do on a normal work day, had breakfast, lunch and dinner at respectable times and exercised - both days!!!
Also, I usually never track on the weekends because I don't spend alot of time on line unless I'm at work. However, this weekend, I made the fortuitous decision to download the SparkPeople Food and Exercise Tracker. The best $3.99 I've spent in a while. It's so easy (and fun)! It kept me on track.
I no longer have to dread the weekend or even worse, write off my weekend eating fest. Thanks to the Tracker App I can keep myself on point!
