ALL the Food!!

Good grief.

The holiday toll on the scale has been impressive. On December 1st I weighed 135. This morning, the scale said 149.

Uhm, oops?

Now granted, some of that is absolutely water weight. We've been eating out like fiends (my sister, brother-in-law and niece are visiting) and my water intake has been beyond insufficient, so it's very likely several pounds will drop just with me hydrating appropriately and eating like a normal person this week.

Still, 149. Ouch.

What's absolutely done me in is that I've been eating as if I must eat ALL the food this past month. No, not just some of it, ALL of it. Because, clearly, it was... all going to disappear or something if I didn't hurry up and eat it?

Well I'll tell y'all, it's not going anywhere because at this precise moment it is firmly attached to my backside :P

I'm back on track this morning, with all my food in line at home and at work to make this happen. We'll see how long it takes to erase a month of lunacy.

    emoticon emoticon emoticon I don't even try to lose during the month of December - maintaining is my goal - so I feel your pain! You're most likely correct that it is water weight that is bloating you. Restaurant food is loaded with salt. I have a similar issue when I eat out. It will come off - I know that you'll stick with it!
