There are so many good things on this site...the people, the plans, videos, recipes...if I come home from work and I'm having a bad day it really helps to get on SP and see how everyone else is doing.
Part of my plan is to eat 5 fruits and veggies a day. It's a simple thing but it turned out to be surprisingly hard. Never realized how little veggies I eat!
So I had cooked a pumpkin (not something I usually buy, it was from our garden) and had all this cooked pumpkin puree in a bowl in the fridge. Didn't want to make pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread, at least not yet, so I surfed through the spark recipes looking for pumpkin ideas. And there it was...a pumpkin pie smoothie.
That is NOT something I would ever have thought of by myself.
This morning I tried it, with almond milk and some pumpkin pie spice and splenda. It was delish! Smooth, creamy, spicy and SO filling. Bet I don't get hungry before lunch.
Plugged it into my tracker and it was 205 calories! Not bad for breakfast.
