Hi, Sparkworld. I am back after a long absence to chronicle my half marathon training. What better place is there to share about new (and intimidating) fitness goals!
I am on week four of my training plan; I'm using Jenny Hadfield's Half Marathon training program right now. Today I did 5 miles, and it was hard but doable. This week I run four times, but my long run is only four miles. I need to start thinking about fuel during my longer runs, and I'm leaning toward some sort of fruit chews...like Clif Shot Blocks or some of the chews that the Honey Stinger company has available.
I am still not sure that I can actually do this, but I am going to try my absolute hardest, and I am determined to have fun doing it!
