New year=new ME!

2013 is off to a GREAT start! I'm so excited about starting this year out right and meeting my goals! This is the year!
So, here's the facts:
I lost over 25 pounds between July 2011 and Dec. 2011.
I maintained that weight, but did not lose more, for a year.
I am still at least 40 pounds overweight.
I am about size 12, sometimes 14.
This year I have a goal of losing that 40 pounds and getting down to 145! When I hit that, we will see if that's the right weight for me, or if I would be healthier if I lost more. My goal is to be fit and healthy--healthy weight, healthy cholesterol, healthy diet, everything! My plan is to eat healthy, with as many fruits/vegetables/healthy proteins as possible. I also have a goal of walking/running at least 10 miles per week. I'm excited to get to the end of the year and see that I've logged well over 500 miles! That's 100 miles farther than walking the north-south length of the entire state of Minnesota! Sounds fun to me!
So this year represents a new start and a continuation. I'm excited to be on this journey!
