It's frustrating to be dealing with the same struggles again. With a lot of my recent stresses, I've gone back to emotional eating habits. I've learned in the past that it's better to exercise the stress away than to eat it away, but I've allowed myself to fall back into old habits. I guess old habits die hard, huh?

Anyway, someone recently pointed out something about verbiage that I thought I'd share. He advised avoiding the phrase "losing weight" because, typically, when we lose something, we always find it again. He said that Weight Watchers and other programs often recommend using words like dropping, shedding or getting rid of weight. I thought that was an interesting idea... our words can be so powerful in our journeys. So I am making a conscious effort to put his advice into practice.
I'm trying to decide on some concrete goals to help me get back into healthy habits. As soon as I figure that out, I will post. Thanks for the continued support and encouragement. I LOVE my SP friends!!
