I've been off track since around Thanksgiving; I intended to get back on track at first, but then I gave in and indulged in all the wonderful holiday sweets and treats that I could get my hands on, knowing that I'd get back on track in the new year. Well, that time has finally come! And thank goodness, because I'm not loving myself right now, and I need to work on that. My work clothes are ridiculously uncomfortable, I'm feeling limited in some of my abilities to do things, and I'm not happy when I look in the mirror. I'm feeling uncomfortable in some way almost all of the time. Turning that around TODAY!
What's my plan?
1. Tracking food - I need to weigh in to get my calorie range corrected, but I'll be tracking my food again, and staying within my ranges.
2. Workouts - I ordered the Rockin' Body DVD system (from BeachBody), and it's got really great reviews, so I'm excited to mix it up. I was getting bored with my workouts and not wanting to do them.
3. Affirmations - gotta start 'em up again!
4. Make a plan for cravings: make tea or cocoa, get on Pinterest and pin new healthy recipes or healthy images (or anything really, I can get stuck on that site for hours and distract myself from cravings!), text my awesomely supportive friends to knock some sense into me, read a book, take a shower, get on Spark for inspiration, or workout. I'm making a pledge to beat those cravings.
Here's what I won't do: beat myself up, indulge in too many treats at work, order full-fat coffees/lattes on my breaks, let myself convince myself that "It's just one ________________". Every steps adds up!
My goal: 1-2 pounds per week by taking steps EVERY DAY to reach my goals. It's only a matter of time!
I want to be proud of myself again, I want to smile when I look in the mirror, I want to feel comfortable in my clothes, I want to lose enough weight that I'm not totally immobile when I get pregnant! I want to lose weight so I'M GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT!
