Goodbye 1st Week of 2013

Strange to be saying goodbye to anything so soon, but here we are on Sunday and one week can be crossed off the calendar. A partial week, but a week nonetheless. I have to say, most of the week had lots of positives. Even the negatives had some positives.

So here's the breakdown from Sun. Dec 30th to Sun. Jan 6th:

Positives:
Gym 5x
Cardio 5x
Strength Training 3x

Food - good choices most days.

Overwhelming positive: down 5 lbs since Christmas (mostly water weight, but I'll take it.) Also have been going and working out and being more conscious of my food choices, which has led to the loss of weight. The process is more important than the outcome in this case.

Negatives:
Couple of bad food days (Silver lining: did only take one helping of each dish at the bachelorette party - just filled up on bread)

Could have done a little bit of fitness on my rest days. (Silver lining: sometimes you need to rest)
