movie time

Sunday, January 06, 2013

sooooo I watch Django I didn't know it would be 165 minutes long, nor did I think I would like it (I'm not a big Quentin Tarantino fan). However for the subject matter of slavery and torture and opression, the movie was done well and plenty of fine actors, but boy was there a lot of bloodshed. Right up til the end, you don't know how it is going to turn out. I won't watch it a second time but it was good for a one time watch and Quentin Tarantino does a cameo in it.

Have watched many QT movies. They are eye catching and often violent. Seen many promos for this movie. I may see it now from your favorable review. Thanks!

Too much gore in the real world to pay for it on television or at the movies.

I was surprised by the length of the movie as well (my husband and I saw it new years eve) I love Quentin Tarantino, although this was his "spaghetti western" so it was different than his norm.

Thanks for the review. I don't think I need to see it. I find torture and things like that not to be "entertainment". Thank you for saving me from the cost of the movie and the uncomfortable viewing!
