I have always had problems picking a tangible incentive for weight loss. After all, isn't losing weight a reward in itself? And if I need a new pair of shoes, then I don't want to delay getting them till they can be a reward.
But when I thought I had lost my favorite earrings, I realized that I love new earrings and they are not something I actually need to have. So I have decided that I will treat myself to new earrings when I lose 5 pounds. And I will not buy new earrings till it is reward time.
I can do this.
