Day 37-A BIG FIRST completed today!

Wow! This is a HUGE day. I completed my first ever indoor nonstop 5k! I am ecstatic. Running on the treadmill for 43 minutes straight is just unbelievable! This is coming from a person who very much did not like running last year. I'm so amped and felt so accomplished today. Great music in the headphones and zoned out the rest. I thought well I'll go 2 miles then I said "run until this song is over." Then another lap went by and so on. Then I only had 2 laps left and thought "I can't quit now, I'm too close".

I've slowly been working on the C2K program. I think I'm up to Week 5 day 3. Then last week my trainer said just do a 5k on Sunday. He said run it, walk it whatever you do just do it. It changed my whole perspective. It pushed me. I was curious to see if I could do it:-)
I'm thinking I may be graduating from the C2K program!

So so thrilled!

Also, the Weightloss Challenge check in went well. Looks like it will be great. They are providing additional challenges for the teams/individuals to work on!
