Here we go, one more time.....
Sad but true, my profile photo hasn't changed any...I still look pretty much exactly the same :( The photos were taken in 2009 and now it's 2013. What can I say...except that I have a killer plan!
I've started walking during my lunch break at work-I can get in a mile, maybe even a little more if I don't have to rush back to work. This should be doable 3-4 days/week. I've also been going to yoga 2-3 times/wk-what a great workout!
I have my Fitbit to help me keep track of things. I've had this little gadget for almost a year and it's really pretty motivational and useful. There's a newer model out-I'll probably upgrade as soon as they get an app for my android phone. The current version has to link up with my computer at home while the newer version will link up with my phone so it will always be current. Not a big deal, but I do love my electronic gadgets......
I'm starting a Metabolic Weight Management Program this week. I'll see an MD and my choice of a fitness specialist, a dietician , a physical therapist or occupational therapist each month. They'll help me set up my program and then hopefully the monthly visits will help me stay on track. I actually started seeing the MD last summer and it was really helpful then some stuff came up and I started missing appointments and then it didn't work so well for me.
I've also been tracking my food-I've been using My Fitness Pal (since the Fitbit didn't used to work with SP) but this week I plan on giving the SP food tracker a go-it's been kind of cumbersome changing the format so we'll see. It would be nice to have everything on SP.
Well, that's about it, clean and simple.
