Today's relationship with food Exercise and Weight

I started out eating healthy...I had chick peas with sauteed spinach in olive oil with a little Parmesan cheese. I had a bowl of chicken chili with some cheddar cheese but then...I started in on the cream cheese crab and shrimp dip with ridgy potato chips. It was downhill after that. I then had some more dip on crackers. And then I finished it with an almond roca and two little chocolates! And why not have some coffee with half and half and honey to finish off my little melt down? I've been not so good with the eating healthy over the holidays although I have been exercising 5 or 6 days a week. Maybe I need to be kind to myself and allow myself to have indulgences though...it seems like when I tell myself you can't have this or that then it's just a matter of time before I do have the forbidden food and twice as much. I did eat an apple today too! I'm not counting my calories today, too depressing. I think maybe in my mind I gave up today when I got on the scale and saw no benefits from my sticking to the exercise this morning. Well I'm off to do some yoga, at least I didn't fall down on the exercise part and even if I'm not loosing weight it's still good for my body and mind.

    Thanks LRB444 yeah you are right. I feel better after doing 56 min of yoga already :)
