Farmaggedon - Documentary

Sunday, January 06, 2013

Last week, a sparkfriend blogged about the documentary "Hungry for Change" which is available on Netflix. I watched that and it was another helpful film (like Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead). I noticed "Farmeggedon" while searching for the other one, and watched it yesterday.
Wow, sometimes I wish I didn't know so much about how the food industry is highjacking our health. If you get a chance, check it out.

Hope 2013 brings wonderful things to all of you. Big hug.

I hope to have time this year to return to our simple way of live. We try to raise as many of our own fruits, veggies, and herbs as we can plus fish in the pond.

Someone else on another team just mentioned this. It sounds like it might be along the same lines as the documentary Forks over Knives but I'll check it out anyway. We can never learn too much about our food!

Those documentaries make me mad and sad about the industry, and extremely grateful for my fantastic, year round local farmers market.
Hope your year is off to a great start too!

Ok. Now I'm going to have to watch that today. Thanks for the tip. I've watched so many documentaries this week and each one strengthens my resolve to eat real organic food.

    I definitely will!

I have been very careful about the foods I buy. I try to go organic when at all possible and buy fruits and vegetables only.

I am getting really creeped out the more I hear!
