Back to school tomorrow :/

Today is the last day of winter break. We return to school tomorrow. Still don't think I am ready so I am very glad I only have 2 classes to deal with! Still have lots to do around here. I didn't have a very productive week. I have an appointment Wednesday morning after I drop off the kids to school for a consultation at Curves. Hoping the program that they set me up with will be in my price range. I really need something extra to get me going. I have just absolutely no energy or motivation! But good news I haven't had a pop since last Wednesday. I was drinking a couple a day again for the last few weeks. I did want one yesterday but I didn't give it. Kids came home yesterday and haven't put down their 3ds's once lol...I did order a mini stepper off Amazon this week. I have decided not to trade my fireplace for a treadmill. Just going to wait until we get a bigger house.

Well not much else is new, just plugging along as always. The craziness will begin tomorrow, and for today...getting ready to jump back into a routine.

    Life does get back to normal eventually. Awesome giving up the soda. I did that and very rarely have one. We are lucky that there are so many other choices. I hope the new stepper works for you.

    Hope your Spring term goes well. So proud of your ability to give up the soda pop. Big WooHoo! I don't buy pop, but indulge once or twice a month when I visit a particular pizza buffet. January should mean no soda pop for me. I can see where that would be a tough challenge. Good work! Hug, hug -- Evelyn

    You lead such a busy life, I can see why no energy. While you were on vacation, you definitely needed the rest.
    I will have to give you a "shame" on your soda drinking :) It's like the kettle calling the pot black ~~ I was very bad and ate lots of candy over the holidays.
    You will get back on track. Remember, we are all here for you. emoticon emoticon

    I'm back to school tomorrow too. It's going to be really rough when that alarm goes off in the morning. Little guy and I are pretty much used to sleeping in and 6am is going to come awfully early. I'm the teacher though, so I can't show weakness. emoticon

    My DD is taking online courses and has been on break. And I, I work in a high school as a TA. But I notice school districts vary in their vacations. I had to return to work on the 2nd. That's okay. We'll get a week in Feb, and one in April; then about 10 weeks summer vacation.

    I've had setbacks too - weight lost, then some regained. But Spark is definitely a great resource. I have been "sparking" more, going to the sparkpoints page and doing all I could to gain those silly little points. In the process I've learned some very interesting things through their numerous articles, and found some great little videos for working out. This semester I've been in a computer lab, so I'd be sitting almost all day - but I take advantage of Spark's seated workout videos from time to time. The weight is started to come off again.

    It's more than diet - it's a change in lifestyle. So here's to us - may God bless us on our journey to a healthier lifestyle! And you'll be setting your children a good example NOW while they're young!
