The Ray referred to in the article was Ray Graham, a running back for the University of Pittsburgh who was scheduled to play in his last game as a Panther yesterday.
Unfortunately for that Ray, he has an injured hamstring and was not able to play. Unfortunately for this Ray, I am suffering from what might be the worst cold of my life. So the running back Ray didn't run at all yesterday and the runner Ray barely made it through 1.5 miles with frequent stops, doubled over with a hacking cough.
But the year is young. There are sunny days ahead, both figuratively and literally, and we will have our day!
OK, Ray. SparkPeople and other experts say if your cold is above the neck, exercise; if the cold is below the neck, don't exercise. No doubling over with a hacking cough, you hear???? 1300 days ago
