So after a very tough fall, I am back here and ready to go yet again. When I started my 40 in 40 last fall, I was at 225, I am still down from that weight but, no where near where I wanted to be at this time and only down a few pounds. A few things I am putting in to place now to try and make this happen are: I am starting the 101 things to do in 1001 days project and losing between 40-50 pounds is goal number 1 to be completed within the first 400 days and then keeping it off for the next 601 days. Another thing I have put into place is that a friend and his wife are also looking at losing so we are meeting weekly to weigh in. This will give me a bit of public accountability. Finally, I am finding inspiration in my sister who last year began training for her first 5k run and did so in June. She continues to train and continues toward her fitness and weight loss goals. I will be working on the Couch to 5k program in order to join her on Thanksgiving in a local 5 k run.
I am really hoping to be successful. I know it is possible as I have lost about 40 pounds in the past, the keeping it off was the issue.
So here we go again with tracking my food and exercise, it worked beofre and I know it can work again.
