Day Three and Four of the "Change Streak" completed

Sunday, January 06, 2013

I am motivated to change, hence the "Change Streak." Motivation triggered by a holiday picture a friend took of me and also my aching feet. You would think that stepping on the scale and seeing 288 pounds would have been motivation enough. How does 288 pounds happen? I think I just became numb to it all but the thought of reaching 300 pounds was also a motivator.
There are so many things I want to change that I have to celebrate the small changes ... trying to form new habits.

Habits like:
Logging and blogging here on a daily basis.
Walking my dog everyday at least one mile (no matter what the weather).
Watching television without eating.

I have started working on these things to change first. I have done great with logging all my exercise and nutrition, walking the dog everyday, and watching television without eating anything. In fact I got so busy watching the Packers win against the Vikings emoticon last night I forgot to blog anything! emoticon

I took up a football/weight loss challenge with Boss61 ... so at this point I must lose 4 pounds by the superbowl (this was based on the score). I think this is correct, it will also depend on the outcome of the remaining playoff games.

Small changes + Small changes + Small changes + Small changes = Big Changes!

Have a great Sunday!

It's all cumulative, if you keep that in mind and make small changes everyday, then.... those 4 pounds will be off before you know it.
