Did you know in 2008 the place I worked has a 10,000 steps a day campaigne...I think I got up to 7000 one day and thought I was gonna die!
I've never been a pedometer kinda gal. I love weights and circuits and this year I WILL do cross fit...that gets me excited. Walking is like killing time by doing something not unhealthy. :) but not being able to do something doesn't sit well with my type A personality...so I thought by the end of February I'd get it done...I guess I was annoyed so I did it 4 days ago and have done it 3 more days...I had a total rest day yesterday. I love seeing the target reached...and I've worked out about how many steps it takes down one street...today I did Wii EA Active and then had about 6000 steps left! 113 minutes of activity! 1 very large blister, my hip issue is roaring tonight, and even my toe joints are yelling at me! Lol
The point is I did it..finally! And now that I have, it's no big deal! I know exactly the time commitment...I may even do 1- 45 minute walk early in the day and then at night see what I have left and then grab the dog and finish it off...it IS doable and the Fitbit makes it easier. :)
Off to bed with an ice pack and some CSI.
