Taking time to enjoy what I am having--a part of that enjoyment is taking time to taste the food and chew it slowly--I always loved doing this--so now I am giving myself as long as it takes to have my food--at least an hour--I don't have an upset tummy this way----funny how I am learning to let myself just enjoy whatever I am doing. emoticon

    That is great! I try to eat slowly too....it really helps.

    Did you always eat mindfully? I find I have always rushed through meals. Now, at 61, I have a problem with my stomach. It's been improving since last year, but I sometimes wonder if I should just try to learn to slow down that eating. Glenn
