I had a rough afternoon in a battle against hunger and temptation. I thought I had more wiggle room in my calories than I did, but when I realized that I had to be careful to stay within my desired range for the day, I felt frustrated and painted into a corner. Which only made it harder not to graze or slip into a binge -- forbidden fruits, so to speak. But I had a reasonable snack and then took a quick one mile walk. Then our dinner plans changed for the better calorie-wise and suddenly I was in good shape again -- where I wanted to be both in calories eaten and a with good differential for the day. Those small choices really do add up on a daily and in turn weekly and monthly basis.

I hate to sound cheesy, but I really am proud of myself. And grateful yet again to have found SparkPeople.
