Kitchen Step 1

The first week of One Year to an Organized Life was journaling and basic kitchen chores (keep the sink empty, empty the dishwasher immediately, and wipe down the counters). Since I was on vacation I also painted the wood trim in my kitchen, reorganized the pantry and throughly cleaned the floors (nooks and crannies). I hope to do a drawer or cupboard each day next week.

This week was about getting a calendar-which I am already pretty good at.

I really am seeing the connection between taking care of my home and taking care of my body!

  sounds like your kitchen is really shaping up . clean and snappy . need to start straighten mine . today not tomorrow . things are way out of shape like myself . need some attention . emoticon

    I suffer from mild depression and moderate anxiety, and I find that the cleaner and more organized my house is, the easier it is to keep those in check. I've always had a strong connection with my environment, body, and mind. Keep at it, and you'll notice MAJOR improvements.
