Challenge Day #4

Day#4 went pretty good. I went to the grocery store with my daughter and nephew and walked all around the store. I also parked far way from the store so I'd get the extra walking. Not to mention I had to carry the groceries and the baby up the stairs to my apartment which took 3 trips. So even though its not traditional exercise Im taking it for my 10 mins.. It took 2 hours and I was sweating!

We ate our dinner around the table again tonite! It was nice.. Im hoping this will become a habit. I think my daughter enjoys it as well...

My eating has been going great the past few days! I've only been eating whole grains, fruits & veggies, eggs, lean meats and fish.. I like snacking on fruits and nuts between meals.. I'm watching my carb and protein intake as well. Im trying to keep all my meals balanced... I find it helps with my hunger between meals...

I've been struggling with a sweet tooth lately, especially chocolate! To combat this I choose hot cocoa. I find that it cuts the cravings completely. If I choose cookies or candy I can never have one serving.. I end up going nuts. Plus its only around 100 cals. It also takes awhile to drink cause the temp is so hot.

Another great hunger/sweet tooth fighter Ive been obsessed with lately is Tea! I swear I've never used my kettle so much. I just love the stuff. I went to a friends house the other day and she had this pumpkin spice tea from whole foods. It was AMAZING! Ive been craving it since. I have to go get it asap. I added a splash of half and half and a tsp of honey. It was SO good...
