Blog it, don't buy it!

Sunday, January 06, 2013

This blog entry is inspired by REVIVED and her cute new running shoes that made me want to go shoe shopping, which I don't need to do, so instead of buying more shoes, I'm posting them here:

(I guess I feel a little better now.)

All very cute choices! I often put things in my "cart" online and then close out the window. Not sure why, but for some reason it makes me feel better, like I *chose* not to buy it. LOL!

I often go shopping for hundreds of dollars of stuff in my shopping cart--and then close out that window!

I always ask myself if it is a want or need before I buy anything now days. Love the shoes though.

Next best thing to window shopping is going online to Zappos for 30 minutes or so. Very theraputic.

What cute shoes! Mine are so boring by comparison. But it's almost time for new ones...

Iinteresting that the shoes bought in chain stores are already breaking down. I suppose that does make sense, just like tires start to break down, but I had never thought of it that way.

i think you mean my ugly shoes with cute liners. They are way too sensible looking to be really cute. I like those green ones you put smack dab in the middle. But my public (I'm always paranoid im going to accidently spell pubic when i type that) service announcement is dont buy running shoes from big chain stores. the guy there told me that all of their shoes are 1 to 3 years old and the something or other in the shoe is already breaking down, even if they havent been worn. And support local business!!

Right now I'm window shopping for hula hoops and unlike the running shoes, they are ALL cute. Maybe I need to do a blog like this. Ill do a blog inspired by your blog that was inspired by my blog. its the circle of spark.

I do that sometimes on Etsy - shop for something to *favorite* but then not buy. I works sometimes ;)
