Well, still no laptop, just checking in real quick. Have been losing weight slooowly, but steady, which is good. Had the flu off and on for weeks now, hard to eat, crackers go down well, but do NOT help with weight loss! Flylady helping for the last few days, progress not perfection. I am chipping away at all my 'hot spots', and it is making a difference.
I was looking for a book on daily affirmations, or daily motivations.. couldn't really find any! So I took some note cards and wrote as many positive things I could think of. Things like "This time I am doing it for ME!", or "I am doing better today than yesterday" you know, cheerleader sayings! Things that are on a positive note to keep me on track. When I feel weak or wanting to eat something that is not good for me, I read or write some of these cards and keep them in my recipe box. I am the only one that can make this happen for ME. I am the one to suffer or celebrate my choices.
Every choice I have made has got me to where I am today... I will use the tools I have to create the life I want. I will do better today than I did yesterday.
I am at 267 or so, but it's that time of the month... my next appt. with the nutritionist is on Tuesday the 8th, will let you know how it goes...
