Still No Laptop :(

Well, still no laptop, just checking in real quick. Have been losing weight slooowly, but steady, which is good. Had the flu off and on for weeks now, hard to eat, crackers go down well, but do NOT help with weight loss! Flylady helping for the last few days, progress not perfection. I am chipping away at all my 'hot spots', and it is making a difference.

I was looking for a book on daily affirmations, or daily motivations.. couldn't really find any! So I took some note cards and wrote as many positive things I could think of. Things like "This time I am doing it for ME!", or "I am doing better today than yesterday" you know, cheerleader sayings! Things that are on a positive note to keep me on track. When I feel weak or wanting to eat something that is not good for me, I read or write some of these cards and keep them in my recipe box. I am the only one that can make this happen for ME. I am the one to suffer or celebrate my choices.

Every choice I have made has got me to where I am today... I will use the tools I have to create the life I want. I will do better today than I did yesterday.

I am at 267 or so, but it's that time of the month... my next appt. with the nutritionist is on Tuesday the 8th, will let you know how it goes...

    I was recently wondering about you and how you were doing, clean forgot your laptop died. Glad to hear you still sound positive and are doing it for yourself.

    I like, Fill your life, not your stomach. Change your mind and change your body. Weight lost surgery is stomach surgery not mind surgery.

I have got "Rid" of the fat

I have NO intentions of finding the fat again !!

When you feel down or about to take a misstep, or just need encouragement to stay on course, just talk to Jehovah immediately. He is waiting for you to put your burden on him. We cannot take a step without him.

    Great idea. I tell that to a sister that we help. I have her put them on sticky notes though and tack them up all over the apartment where she will see them where ever she is. emoticon on your progress.
