No weight lost, but still a good start!

So far the New Year has been going great now that my cold has passed. I admit, I'm avoiding any weight postings because when a woman is around her time of the month, water retention and bloating are unavoidable. I always shift anywhere from 3-8 lbs. so I don't want to discourage myself with numbers.
I did have a shot of jack daniels and some pizza the other night, but did some extra dance fitness to help with some of the calories. But as for the other days, I've been staying within my calorie intake range. I've done two high impact fitness classes since the 1st and some solo cardio & weightlifting in between so I know I'm not being lazy. I also had to do some lifting and fast moving around work on Wednesday and Thursday. I just hope that after next week passes, I'll start seeing some results from my efforts.
I swear, I have little patience sometimes. But I can tell that I'm becoming more toned. :) Someone even commented on it when I was out on the town last night. Whoo!
