I got up earlier to get the house ready for the day and to monitor my husband's end of therapy with peritoneal dialysis. We got an error message on the last drain - a key component. I tested everything and could find nothing wrong. I called tech support and did what they wanted at 7 am. I called his PD nurse to be certain at 8:30 am. She is on call on the weekends. I then gave him manual PD. I packed away the bags and solutions and then found the drain bag had a collapsed entry port. RRRRRRR!
I kept my cool and kept Bob calm. I reassured him that he would be just fine. I'm glad I had 14 years as a director of technology and dealt with tech support regularly.
