I am very inflexible, so I am not a fan of many stretches. Since I started stretching regularly, it's gotten better, but I still have a long way to go. But in my Week 0 research, I researched good stretches for runners and I found the two best stretches ever.
One is a hip stretch (I love hip stretches!). Lay on your back with your left knee bent. Place your right ankle across your left knee and pull your left knee into your chest. Awesome.
The next one is even better. All you do is lay on your back with your butt against a wall and your legs in the air against the wall. In my inflexibility, I felt this stretch in my hamstrings, but overall it just relaxed everything and felt great.
