Review 2012, Goals 2013--A & I Penguins

Our challenge for this week was to write a Blog about 2012 - 2013.
Started out good, then not so good. Who knows why. I got serious again about September and, between Sept & Dec I lost 7 lbs, taking me down to 124. Then I gained 4 lbs over the holidays. I have now lost 1 of those lbs, taking me down to my current 127.
As my weight gets lower I had a hard time finding what works for me. As we all do. I think everyone has their 'happy place'. A place where everything just eshes, it all works, it all comes together.
I found mine in Sept.
Low carb works for me. Not low carb like Atkins. But low carb like South Beach. And Phase 1.5 works for me and I will likely stay there. I add in 1 'carby' food item twice a week. Oatmeal-my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! I have oatmeal for breakfast twice a week(OK sometimes I have it for lunch instead). Any more carbs than that and I bloat up big time and I CRAVE like nobody's business!
And I do cardio 3 times a week, I walk ALL the time most EVERYWHERE(I don't drive). ST I love-I do that 5 times a week, following the Athlean XX dvds. I started those earlier last year then stopped. I'm now on the 2nd week, with intentions to follow through for the 90 days.
A further incentive is my husband is coming home in March(the 5th) for 30 days-his daughter from his first marriage is getting married. Then he, Amber & I are going on a cruise-our 5th. We'll be leaving March 11th and coming back on the 16th. (Amber has Spring Break that week).
My 3 Month Goals(January - March)
~~ drop 3 - 5 lbs by staying on P 1.5 & maybe tweaking along the way
~~ continue on with AthleanXX
