I slept the day away after taking Tylenol PM last night on top of being exhausted in general. I'm working on the energy to clean house and fix some dinner--spaghetti made with lean beef, green peppers, and onions. Will hold us for two days.
Right now, I don't know what's going to happen with my 3K race and sinus surgery stuff. I don't know how soon after tests on the 15th they'll want to do revision surgery (depends on how bad the infection is spreading to areas other than the sinuses or affecting other things like vision, etc.) I don't know if I could hold off having surgery until after the 3K or if they'll want to do it sooner, the ENT was hinting at sooner rather than later. Downtime for the surgery is a month to a month and a half (meaning no bending over, no lifting, no exercise.) So having the surgery any time before the 3K means no 3K.
I know I shouldn't whine and question but why did this have to happen? I wanted to spend this year getting healthy and finally being able to focus on exercise and training for races and then working.
I'm not sure if I'll be getting the online teaching job next week or not, which if I did would give me less than a week to get a syllabus, lesson plans, and website ready. I would gladly take that mad rush in order to have the job that pays. I signed up on unemployment but can't get my first check until Jan 18th. I'd rather work than fool with that.
I'm so aggravated.
