Tried Les Mills Body Pump today at the recommendation of a co-worker; she is so pumped and excited about it; I thought I would give it a try. I even talked my daughter into going with me. I must admit that it wasnít exactly what I thought it would be, but I would do it again. So I have decided to add that to my routine for the month of January along with additional strength training and cardio and see what types of results I end up with by January 31, 2013.
However, I did find that a few sections of the routine were challenging; it really indicated where I needed to focus more attention; such as my abs and triceps. Therefore; something good came out of the experience. My daughter enjoyed it and says we should add Zumba to the regiment for January as well. I say if itís going to help me drop some pounds why not. I did find that the group setting was exhilarating and a nice change from my secluded workout (I rather enjoy working out alone).
Just a reminder; my goal for January is to drop 8 pounds; 8 pounds to be gone for good; thatís what Iím shooting for. I will continue to keep track of all exercise and nutrition as normal and see if my change in routine helps to shake things up a bit. Happy Sparking Everyone!
