I was a bit surprised to see a loss today. I input my salad out of curiosity, and it put my daily Na intake at 4,605 mg. I went to watch my friends play some basketball, but didn't play. I went to the gym afterwards, and did my 90 minute walk. No one to talk to, so it was booooring. I had a mushroom omelette for breakfast, and am eating chicken, tomatoes, and onion for lunch. The other half I cooked up is in the fridge for supper. I also have 2 oz cheese cubes for a snack. I have been drinking a lot of water today, almost at 10 cups right now. Maybe it is from all the sodium, and I am wondering if it will stop my weight loss tomorrow. All I can do is eat the food on my tracker today, and see what happens tomorrow.I did cut my carbs/protein a bit, and added olive oil to my lunch/dinner. My peaches are done, and I think I will just have mushroom omelettes for breakfast. Fruit makes me nervous. If I do have fruit, I will wait till I can get fresh fruit. Also going to cut out the macadamia nuts, due to them being so expensive. I need the calcium in the cheese anyways.

That's all I got for today. Tomorrow is Biggest Loser day, so it is going to be good.

    Almonds have a decent amount of calcium

Brazil nuts are really tasty as well.

I screwed up, total and utter emotional eating today, feeling really sad over something and just felt screw it mid-afternoon. I feel wretched now, horrible tummy ache.

    I hear you, fruit makes me nervous too. I always put on with pineapple, watermelon, or honeydew. But, not so much with berries. Canned anything makes me nervous really (except tomatoes or black beans.) I can get away with steel cut oatmeal better than I can anything with wheat in it, go figure.

    90 Minutes at the Gym being boring... I have some suggestions:

1. An mp3 player. Get one, load it up, and while away the miles with music you like. Or, just discover new bands.

2. Play games with the digital readouts. Beat your personal best, etc.

I love the gym. It's never boring for me.

    I know a couple of the reasons why fruit would make you nervous, gout flares being pretty high up on the list, but I was wondering if trying new recipes makes you nervous too?

I myself am pretty good at eating the same meals day in and day out for long periods of time, but then, when I burn out on them I won't eat them again for a really long time. I try and avoid that happening by messing with new food combos when there's time. For instance, my lunch has been chicken thighs baked in the convection oven with Deli BBQ seasoning for weeks now, and it's starting to get old. I start to graze when I get bored with food, and, first, the cafeteria food is not very LC friendly, and second, my budget will no longer allow it, so I have to come up with a new down-and-dirty recipe mighty quick.
