January the month of the Vegan

Well, this month to detox from all the crap I ate over Christmas and New Years I have decided to go Vegan for the month of January. From January 1 to the 31 my meal will be plant based and I will be supplementing my Omega 3s. I hope this teaches me to fully understand the importance of a plant based diet and will allow me to try new things. I hope that later I will be able to reincorporate meat, poultry, etc into my diet a few times a week, but eat mostly vegetarian meals.

  Been a vegetarian for almost forty years but never went totally vegan. Omega 3's are an issue. There is no doubt that you will feel better for it. You will do great!

    I'm making similar changes too, just not jumping with 2 feet like you! Color me impressed! Looking forward to seeing a blog on the 31st about all the great effects you see from this change. Good Luck!
