Setting Attainable/Realistic Goals for 2013

Starting a New Year always give's us a fresh new start.
This year, I have thought about setting real attainable goals to stay on track with weight loss. Going to go at it month by month and set goals for each month of the year. For this month of January, I am committed to work out 5 days a week. Will do a Turbo Jam 20 min. workout at home (Monday-Friday) which is realistic for me to start with. There is a Saturday morning class of Zumba @ 8am which I can add because I really enjoy it :). With nutrition, I plan to eat my 3 meals a day and 1 mid afternoon snack. Will eat every 2 1/2 hours and push to drink my 4-5 cups of water a day, always drinking one full cup of water before my meals. Defenitly watch my portion size and add protein at every meal because it fill's me up longer. I know there will be obstacles in the way and that's where I will always have to have a plan B.
So far, I have lost 8 pds and feel very energized (love it). One thing that really motivated me yesterday was that I was getting ready to go out to the store and was looking for a pair of my jeans to put on. Then I thought to myself, why don't I try that pair in the closet that I got on sale at Kohls last summer. I am between a size 20/18 right now. These new pants are size 18 and the first time I tried them on last summer, I was able to pull them up but could not even button them up never the less zip them up. Now I Was able to button and zip them up even though they are tight, but I was able to button them and zip them up .... Woohoo !!!!! Awesome Feeling Right !!!!
God help me to stay focused each month and not give up on myself.
I Can Do This !
