“The game of life is not so much in holding a good hand as playing a poor hand well.”
—H. T. LESLIE, 19th-century composer
Karma out with your hands up!
SERIES: That ’70s Show
GOOF: The show is set between the years of 1976 and 1979, and lots of period consumer products and technology are used as props. The problem: Sometimes that stuff isn’t historically accurate. A few examples: Cassette tapes made of clear plastic are shown, but those weren’t in use until 1984—before then, they were a solid color. Snack Pack pudding cups are in plastic, but the ’70s version of the product was packaged in tin cans. And Star Wars fan Eric Foreman’s (Topher Grace) green light saber wasn’t produced until Return of the Jedi hit movie theaters … in 1983.
If you’re average, you’ll watch about 2 million commercials in your lifetime.
