Friday morning I was lying in bed thinking and doing math! I have decided that I will have two mileage goals for 2013, one for running and one for biking.
Running goal: 500 miles (7.45 year to date so far)
Biking goal: 1500 miles (8.1 year to date so far)
I truly am someone who likes ticking things off a list, and also someone who watches the numbers. So knowing that I need to get my workouts in on a weekly basis is going to help me make my yearly goal.
My running goal is very achieveable, but I don't want to set the bar too high and go too far too soon - Plantar Fasciitis is still very fresh in my mind. And I also want to do more long bike rides this summer (25 miles or more at a time), so will likely cut back on my runs in the summer time.
So I will start with these numbers, and see where I end up!
