Oh my gosh, CRAZY day at work. A spay (which by the way, is considered routine surgery...there is NOTHING routine about cutting into and removing multiple organs with mass amounts of vessels) did not go well...an artery tore and that was no fun to fix. I had to have another doctor scrub in...it is a 2-woman job. She did well post-op, but it was scary. This is the first, but will not be the last time in my career...it happens to everyone. I also had to euthanize a much beloved patient. His poor dad was so torn up. It comes with being a vet, but it isn't an easy thing to do.

On a lighter note, I got my fitbit! The rest of the fam also got one and our family challenge is on it's way!
I was WAY under calories today...but it was a long, long day!
