Preparation for trying days

I've been giving some thought about this year. I decide to work on a "safety net" for those less than ideal times, that comes throughout every year. I know those times will come but the difference is the rebound time. Here are my "safety nets" I have for now. Please feel free to share some of yours.
1) I've started keeping a list on non-scale victories. This will be a great help for the times that the scales refuse to budge or when I just feel down work whatever the reason. It will stand as a reminder of all I have already accomplished.
2) I can also look daily at my vision, that I done upon SparkPeople's suggestion.
3) My zip fitbit that I can see at anytime just how far I have came from the beginning of this week, month or year. It will serve as a reminder of how far I have came just by simply taking one small step after another, after another.
