Hubby and I have made a commitment toward one another. One as important as our marriage vows.... we are going to prepare for the rest of our lives. Just as having the wedding and saying the vows commits you together, we are taking care of our bodies to last us for the rest of our lives.
This entire year -2013 -is dedicated to weight loss and the creation of a healthy lifestyle. I am going to be eating well, taking vitamins, drinking water, cutting out crap, organizing and living a lower stress life.
We are starting tonight. I have chickpeas roasting in the oven for snacks and will be making up my "lunches" for work tonight and this weekend (not sure what to call meals when you work overnights). I am eating vegetarian for a minimum of two weeks. No soft or semi soft cheese, no cows milk, no meat, no bread, no sugar, no "white" anything. I am increasing my beans, nuts, vegetable and fruit intake. I know that the first few days will be bad....as I detox my body off of all the artificial crap I'm used to eating....but I also know how amazing I will feel later.
