One team asked us to write about something going on in our home town, so I also wrote it as a blog.

Not a home town as we live in this resort for 6 winter months and hundreds of us call the people here "Our Rainbow Family" as the resort is named Rainbow. Kind of neat to have all the residents over 55 and have people who will do anything to help you out.
People play games and cards in the evening, tomorrow morning is a pancake breakfast along with a Blood Drive and Sunday afternoon many gather for a social time and buy ice cream. If a person gets bored here, it is his own fault as there is always something going on.
We have water aerobics, exercise classes and countless outdoor sports. The Exercise Room is very adequate and we even have Computer Classes and there is no charge for any of these things.
We find it interesting that our teen-aged grandchildren love to visit here. They feel safe and get to drive Grandpa's golf cart around.
We consider this our home town!!!

The retirement communities are nice. My sister lives in a gated retirement community. So glad you enjoy yourself there.

It definitely sounds like an enjoyable place to be! It's wonderful that you have access to so many activities. I used to really enjoy visiting my grandparents' trailer park in FL, as it seemed very much like what you just described. Memories. emoticon
